What is Mjølkevegen and how do you cycle it?

Mjølkevegen (The Milk Road) is Norway's most famous bikepacking route — approximately 250 km of gravel through Valdres mountain farms, part of National Cycling Route No. 5. The route runs between Vinstra/Skåbu and Gol, snow-free from mid-June. Accommodation at mountain lodges including Bygdin, Haugseter, and Storefjell. Typically cycled in 3-5 days. Luggage transport and e-bike rental available via Fjellkjeden/Intersport at Beitostølen and Fagernes.
